Animation Demo Reel

Hey there!

nice to see you...

It’s Jeffrey here, an eager 3D / 2D Artist.

Just to give you a background on my passion and profession (or passion-turned-profession!)…

An inspiration sown during childhood is the strongest, they say, and so is mine. My dad is an artist, so right from a very young age I had been introduced to colours, patterns, shapes and composition of a picture. That, along with my ‘always-see-things-in-a-different-perspective’ attitude nurtured my fascination for cartoons – especially how colours and shapes can give so much happiness and the ‘anything-goes’ concept in that world which has always kept me in surprise as to what will happen next. I loved how certain shapes could move in a particular sequence and time to make us believe that something on a flat screen can be so alive! I grew up by watching as many cartoons as I possibly could. At certain times, I used to watch three or four shows together on the same television by constantly toggling between channels. Hahahaha I know, I’m a bit crazy that way.

Then boomed animations and the visual media ventured into an even more epic journey which got me hooked up to this field. Being a movie buff myself, I understood that there are a lot of imaginative aspects that cannot be shown in a movie, as it is not generally acceptable by the audience. But in an animated movie, it is a totally different story.

As I was about to pass out from my school, I constantly thought to myself what I would do in future. And then, it hit me… I love two things – computers and cartoons. And what lies in common between the two was DESIGNING AND ANIMATION! How else to pay tribute to all those amazing moments this field has given me than to get into this industry and do the same to others.

Everyone should do something they love to earn a living; for some it might demand round-the-clock serious approach and for others, it might lead to forgetting the innocence they grew up with. But for me, it is to be a kid at heart and never let the creativity in me die. That’s a good excuse indeed to tell your mother when she asks why you still watch cartoons!
